BACKGROUND (Why is this Action Necessary, and What Action will be accomplished)

body

Background:

Charlotte County Utilities (CCU) is soliciting qualifications from vacuum sewer system material vendors interested in becoming the approved provider of materials and services for the Lake View Midway project. The County will select highest ranking firm as the project Vacuum Sewer System Manufacturer (VSSM) and will include the provider’s specifications in the Design Specifications for the Lake View Midway Vacuum Sewer Project as the basis of design. The intent is to ensure the warranties are intact and to ensure that all the equipment will be provided by one company.

Professional Service Committee members consisting of Tom Dunn, Project Engineer - CCU; Jack McStravic, Deputy Building Official; and Zach Patchell, Project Manager - Public Works; evaluated and ranked the two submitted proposals. A breakdown of the ranking, along with copies of the two proposals submitted are attached.
