Approve Change Order #3 to Request for Letters of Interest File #19-139, Myakka River Park Master Site Plan, for an additional $13,500, with a revised not-to-exceed amount of $175,000.

No action needed. Budgeted in Capital Improvements Project "Myakka River Park" approved in the FY24 budget process. Funding is supplied from Capital Projects Fund ad valorem and Park Impact Fees, as available.

BACKGROUND (Why is this Action Necessary, and What Action will be accomplished)

Background:
On March 11, 2019, the County Administrator awarded File #19-139 to RWA, Inc., for a total amount of $129,000 for the Myakka River Park Master Site Plan. Change Order #1 for additional design services and construction administration services was approved by County Administrator for $22,000. Change Order #2 for tree survey and wetland flagging was approved by County Administrator for $10,500.
This third change order request is for additional permitting services with US Army Corps of Engineers that is necessary for the project to move forward for additional $13,500.
