REQUESTED MOTION/ACTION

Recommended Action:
a) Approve a grant agreement from the Federal Emergency Management Agency through Florida Division of Emergency Management in the amount of $236,390.00 for the Lift Station Generators; and
b) Approve Resolution for budget adjustment BA26-257 in the amount of $310,033; and
c) Approve amendment to Capital Improvement Project “Lift Station Permanent Generators (HMGP - 4734)” increasing total project by $294,568; and
d) Authorize Chairman, or designee, to sign Resolution, grant agreement, and grant related documents.

Budgeted Action:
No action needed. Approve budget adjustment BA26-257 in the amount of $310,033 for generators and Sub-Recipient Management Cost. Amend the FY26 budget for Capital Improvement Project “Lift Station Permanent Generators (HMGP-4734)” in the amount of $294,568, which excludes the Sub-Recipient Management Cost. Funding for this expenditure will come from County reserves and will be reimbursed by Florida Division of Emergency Management in the amount of $236, 390. Sub-Recipient Management Cost in the amount of $15,464.75 are 100% reimbursable. The local share of $77,323.75 is anticipated to be reimbursed by Florida Commerce Hazard Mitigation Grant Management Program.
