Recommended Action:
a) Authorize Subrecipient Agreement between Charlotte County Charlotte Behavioral Health; and
b) Authorize the Chairman to sign the agreement.

No action needed. A quarterly budget action will be brought to the board to carryforward FY26 remaining budget.

BACKGROUND (Why is this Action Necessary, and What Action will be accomplished)

Background:
On June 28, 2021, the Board adopted Resolution 2021-077 agreeing to participate in the Florida Unified Plan governing the allocation and use of Opioid settlement proceeds. Use of the monies is essentially limited to treatment and education of opioid/substance abuse. The Board approved a workplan in June of 26 allocating the regional funding to support Charlotte Behavioral’s Veteran’s Court program. This contract is for that agreement.
