REQUESTED MOTION/ACTION

Recommended Action:
a) Approve award of Request for Bid #26-500, Painting Contractor- Annual Contract, to Axios Painting and Maintenance, LLC of Tarpon Springs, Florida, for the period of October 1, 2026, through and including September 30, 2027, per the attached unit pricing, with the option to renew for two additional one-year terms, at the same prices, terms, and conditions, upon mutual consent; and
b) Authorize the County Administrator to approve renewal options for up to two additional one-year terms, at the same prices, terms, and conditions, by mutual consent.

BACKGROUND (Why is this Action Necessary, and What Action will be accomplished)

Background:
This is the annual contract for a painting contractor to provide services for new and remodeling painting projects, on an “as needed” basis. As stipulated in the contract documents, this County, in coordination with the Awarded Contractor, shall determine the necessary materials needed to complete each project. Paints and finishes to be used shall be at the discretion of the County. The County has the right to supply materials and/or equipment for use by the Contractor without provision of the contract.
