Recommended Action:
Approve award of Request for Bid #26-098, South Gulf Cove MSBU Bridge Rehabilitations- #014065, 014070, and 014072, to Structural Technologies, LLC of Pompano Beach, Florida for the total amount of $1,195,628.70. This is for the services of a Contractor to complete bridge repairs. Bridge #014065, St Paul Drive over Zephyr Waterway, Bridge# 014070, San Domingo Boulevard over Santa Cruz Waterway, and Bridge #014072, Ingraham Boulevard over Santa Cruz Waterway.

Budgeted Action:
No action needed. Budgeted in the Public Works MSBU/TU Bridges Capital Maintenance Plan as approved in the FY26 budget process. Funding is supplied from South Gulf Cove Street and Drainage MSBU assessments.

BACKGROUND (Why is this Action Necessary, and What Action will be accomplished)

Background:
It is the intent of Charlotte County to secure the services of a Contractor to furnish all material, labor, equipment, and all other associated appurtenances required to successfully complete the South Gulf Cove MSBU Bridge repairs on St Paul Drive over Zephyr Waterway (Bridge #014065), San Domingo Boulevard over Santa Cruz Waterway (Bridge #014070), and Ingraham Boulevard over Santa Cruz Waterway (Bridge #014072).
Therefore, it has been determined to be in the best interest of the County to award to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder, Structural Technologies, LLC, of Pompano Beach, Florida, for the total amount of $1,195,628.70
Completion Time is 120 calendar days with $1,690 per calendar day for liquidated damages.
