Approve award of Request for Bid #26-001, Standby Generator Replacement - East Port, to GenServe of Cape Coral, Florida for a total amount of $196,486.50. This is to replace the standby generator at the East Port Operations Building, located at 3100 Loveland Boulevard, Port Charlotte, FL 33980.

BACKGROUND (Why is this Action Necessary, and What Action will be accomplished)

Background:
It is the intent of Charlotte County to secure the services of a licensed Contractor for services required to replace the standby generator at the East Port Operations Building, located at 3100 Loveland Boulevard, Port Charlotte, FL 33980.
Therefore, it is in the best interest of Charlotte County to award Request for Bid #26-001, Standby Generator Replacement - East Port, to GenServe of Cape Coral, Florida for a total amount of $196,486.50.
Completion time is 90 calendar days with liquidated damages of $1,045 per calendar day.
