BACKGROUND (Why is this Action Necessary, and What Action will be accomplished)

Background:
It is the intent of Charlotte County to obtain professional design services for a firm to perform design, all applicable Federal, State, and Local permitting and construction oversight services for the demolition and complete replacement for approximately 1,273 linear feet of vertical seawall at Chadwick Park at Englewood Beach, 2100 N Beach Road, Englewood, Florida under the Professional Services Library Contract #25-643.
This project would include site analysis, design, permitting, and construction management.
Community Services has reviewed and approved the Scope and Fee submitted and recommends award to Centro Consulting Group, LLC, for the not-to-exceed amount of $222,000. Scope of Services with associated fees are attached.
