BACKGROUND (Why is this Action Necessary, and What Action will be accomplished)

Background: 

Charlotte County is seeking services from Firms to provide a management software system to manage the County’s insurance claims and risk management functions inclusive of all software and services necessary to implement a system that meets the requirements of the County.

 

Four (4) proposals were received and evaluated by the Professional Services Committee consisting of George Guffey, Claims & Liability Coordinator - Risk Management Division, Aaron Olson, IT Business Analyst - Information Technology Division, and David Lyle, Environmental Health/Safety/ADA Coordinator - People Operations.

 

It is in the best interest of the County to award Request for Proposal #26-367, Risk Management Information Software - Claims Management to Concourse Tech, Inc., of New York, New York, at an annual cost of $75,000, with a five-year total of $375,000. A copy of the submittal is attached, indicating a breakdown of scope and fee.
