Approve Change Order #1for File #23-631, for the purchase of one (1) 2024 E-One Commercial Pumper, from Matheny Fire & Emergency (formerly Hallmark RTC of Ocala, Florida) piggyback off the Florida Sheriff’s Association Contract #FSA23-VEF 17.0, in the amount of $3,500, for an updated total cost of $519,855.38.

Budgeted Action:
No action needed. Budgeted in the Heavy Equipment Replacement plan as approved in the FY25 budget process. Funding is supplied as a loan from Capital Projects to be repaid from assessments in the Barrier Island Fire Municipal Service Benefit Unit.

Background:
This pumper purchase is a piggyback off the Florida Sheriff’s Association Contract #FSA23-VEF 17.0. E-One has notified Public Safety of a $3,500 price increase due to tariffs.
This pumper is replacing Property #21311.
Therefore, it is requested that the Charlotte County Board of County Commissioners approve a Change Order #1 for an additional $3,500 for an updated total cost of $519,855.38.
