Background:
The applicant and the property owner, Sandra W. Welles Ranch LLC, is requesting this application to certify Sending Zones covering approximately 43.8? acres, which include 349 platted lots in Blocks 15, 17, 18, 22 through 27, & 29 through 32, and within the Del Verde Section G subdivision, generally located north of Bermont Road and west of SR 31, in the East County area. If this application is approved by the Board of County Commissioners, the proposed SZs will certify 349 units of transferable density, and zero units will be retained.
This CSZ request is consistent with Future Land Use (FLU) Policy 1.2.9: TDU Sending Zones and meets one of 11 criteria as set forth in this policy. This CSZ request meets the County TDU Code (Section 3-9-150) requirement.
