No action needed. Budgeted in the Risk Management Fund - Self Insurance Budget for the FY26 budget approval process. Funding for this expenditure comes from the Self Insurance Assessments.

Background:
Juanita Farias was a County Fire Inspector for 2yrs. A mediated settlement was tentatively reached on October 9th, 2025 pending approval of the Board. The settlement is $85,000.00 for two (2) claims that caused injuries to multiple body parts.
