Approve the acceptance of the US EPA 320 FY25 Grant Award on behalf of Coastal & Heartland National Estuary Partnership (CHNEP).

Budgeted Action:
No action needed. $850,000 budgeted in the 1026-CHNEP Fund budget and $850,000 budgeted in the 1026-CHNEP Fund budget as approved in the FY2025 budget process. Funding for the expenditure comes from the United States Environmental Protection Agency.

Background:
Approval will allow Charlotte County, CHNEP’s administrative host, to accept the grant funding. The grant funds the Budget & Work Plan for the CHNEP. This award does not require a signature and is considered accepted within 21 days of its transmittal if no action is taken by grantee.
