Recommended Action:
Approve award of Piggyback File #25-552, Sheriff's Admin Headquarters/911 Office Furniture, per the State of Florida Contract #56120000-24-NY-ACS, which was awarded to Workscapes, Inc. of Fort Myers, Florida for the total amount of $1,058,844.65. The purchase of this furniture is for the new Charlotte County Sheriff's Office (CCSO) Admin Headquarters/911 building, which spans approximately 62,400 square feet, and is expected to be complete in March 2026.

BACKGROUND (Why is this Action Necessary, and What Action will be accomplished)

Background:
The purchase of furniture for the new Charlotte County Sheriff's Office (CCSO) Admin Headquarters/911 building located at 3110 Loveland Boulevard, which spans approximately 62,400 square feet, and is expected to be completed in March of 2026. This is part of the effort to support the accommodation of additional staff and to equip the space for future expansion. The furniture order includes a variety of furnishings designed to create functional workspaces within the building, including cubicle office setups as well as other types of arrangements to meet the specific needs of CCSO. The building will house office space for various CCSO personnel, including sheriffs, majors, corporals, captains, and sergeants, all of whom will benefit from the new, modern furnishings designed to support both daily operations and training activities.
