Recommended Action:
a) Approve ranking of firms for Request for Proposal #26-538, Construction Engineering Inspection - Rotonda Bridge #014113 Replacement: 1st Infrastructure Consulting and Engineering of Fort Myers, Florida; 2nd AECOM Technical Services, Inc. of Fort Myers, Florida 1st AECOM Technical Services, Inc. of Fort Myers, Florida; 2nd Infrastructure Consulting and Engineering of Fort Myers, Florida; and
b) Approve start of negotiations; and
c) Authorize the Chairman to sign the Contract after completion of negotiations, if contract does not exceed the amount of $250,000.

Budgeted Action:
No action needed. Funding for this hurricane Ian expense is being provided through the County’s general revenues and collected in the hurricane fund. There is an anticipated reimbursement of 90% by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) with a Florida Division of Emergency Management (FDEM)reimbursement of 5% and a local match of 5%. The SB4A state program may cover the local share of 5%, depending on available funding.

Background:
Charlotte County is seeking an experienced and qualified firm to provide Construction Engineering Inspection (CEI) services for the replacement of Rotonda Bridge #014113 located on Rotonda Boulevard over the Rotonda River.
Two (2) proposals were received and reviewed by the Professional Services Committee consisting of Kelly Slaughter, Projects Manager - Public Works; Jody Pressley, Projects Manager - Utilities; Lacey Solomon, Projects Manager - Community Services.
Copies of the proposals are attached along with the breakdown of the ranking.
