Recommended Action:

Approve the appointment of Lawrence (Larry) Morrow to fill the unexpired term of Christine Carlomany as well as an additional new three-year term on the Gulf Cove Waterway Advisory Board. This appointment will be effective immediately and will expire on October 31, 2028.

Background: 

Christine Carlomany on the Gulf Cove Waterway Advisory Board has resigned their position and the vacancy needs to be filled. This position has been advertised and there are no other applicants. Ordinance 2016-041 states: Members appointed to fill a vacancy with less than six months to the end of term date shall be appointed for the remainder of the term and the following three-year term.
