Approve the Sole Source award of File #25-732, VESTA 9-1-1 Additional Equipment for Sheriff’s Office, for the total cost of $360,338.53 to ConvergeOne, Inc. of Bloomington, Minnesota. This is for the purchase of additional Vesta 9-1-1 equipment required to fully outfit the remaining stations.

Background:
Facilities has requested the purchase of additional VESTA 9-1-1 equipment including the software, hardware, professional services, and maintenance for the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office. This is for the purchase of additional Vesta 9-1-1 equipment required to fully outfit the remaining stations. The purchase of this equipment ensures full operational readiness, enhances efficiency during peak demand, and avoids costly retrofits later. It also provides consistent technology across all positions, improving reliability, maintenance, and dispatcher flexibility. This additional equipment needs to be provided by the original system vendor, ConvergeOne, Inc., making this a sole source purchase.
Therefore, it is in the best interest of the County to approve the Sole Source award of File #25-732, VESTA 9-1-1 Additional Equipment for Sheriff’s Office, for the total cost of $360,338.53 to ConvergeOne, Inc. of Bloomington, Minnesota.
