REQUESTED MOTION/ACTION

Recommended Action:
a) Approve piggyback award of File #26-665, Microsoft Enterprise Agreement, at the attached unit pricing, with an estimated annual spend of $1,136,063.84, for a three-year period, which this portion was awarded to CDW, LLC, of Vernon Hills, Illinois, by the Sourcewell Contract #12193-CDW, Technology Products and Services; and
b) Authorize the Chairman to sign the Enterprise Agreement #E8086011.

Budgeted Action:
No action needed. Funds are available in the General Fund IT Maintenance budget as adopted with the FY27 budget process. Funding for this expenditure comes from ad valorem.

BACKGROUND (Why is this Action Necessary, and What Action will be accomplished)

Background:
The Microsoft Enterprise Agreement provides the County with comprehensive licensing and support of all Microsoft products in use throughout the County; email, client access to file servers, database servers, Sharepoint, and other services, including Advanced Threat Protection. This is the first year of a three-year agreement, with an estimated annual expenditure of $1,136,063.84, per attached unit pricing from available services from CDW, as awarded by Sourcewell Contract #12193-CDW, Technology Products and Services. Year 2 and 3 will be processed in the appropriate future fiscal years.
