REQUESTED MOTION/ACTION
recommendation
Recommended Action:
a) Approve ranking of firm for Request for Proposal 23-294 Hurricane Ian Recovery Assessments: 1st - CSA Consulting Group; and
b) Approve start of negotiations; and
c) Authorize the Chairman to sign the contract after completion of negotiations. This is for a qualified firm to provide Hurricane Ian assessments, full designs, permitting, and construction oversight for property in the open.

Budgeted Action:
No action needed. Hurricane costs are being collected in the Hurricane Fund. Funding is supplied from County general revenues, with anticipated cost sharing/reimbursement from FEMA and State.

Background:
This is for a qualified firm to provide Hurricane Ian assessments, full designs, permitting, and construction oversight for property in the open.
Professional Services Committee members consisting of Jack McStravic, Community Development; Kenneth Stecher, Utilities; and Roger Warner, Facilities Construction & Maintenance evaluated the proposal submitted and had discussions with the firm. A breakdown of the ranking is attached, along with a copy of the proposal submitted by the firm.
