Background:

The General Appropriations Act (GAA) for 2023-2024 includes a line-item appropriation for a $1,000,000 match grant for eligible Charlotte County residents for seawall repair/replacement.  A grant agreement with Florida Commerce is provided for consideration and acceptance.  The Scope of Work outlines the tasks, performance measures, and financial consequences.  The DRAFT policy, also provided, outlines the eligibility criteria and required documents for eligibility and benefit level determination.
