BACKGROUND (Why is this Action Necessary, and What Action will be accomplished)

body

Background:

Public Works was approached by residents of Waterford Estates stating they feel unsafe pulling out onto Carmalita Street with the vehicles traveling at 45 miles per hour. Also, the number of pedestrians utilizing the parks at the eastern end of Carmalita Street will benefit from the lower speed limit while trying to cross Carmalita Street to visit the parks across from one another.
