No action needed. Budgeted in the Community Services Capital Maintenance Plan approved in the FY24 budget process. Funding is supplied from Capital Projects ad valorem.

BACKGROUND (Why is this Action Necessary, and What Action will be accomplished)

Background:
Community Services is requesting the LED Lighting Retrofit for four (4) Carmalita Park Softball Fields. The work includes providing the required fixtures, poles, electrical enclosures, mounts, hardware, wire harnesses, control cabinets, and all installation labor, materials, and equipment required for assembly. This purchase is in accordance with the prices, terms, and conditions of the Clay County Request for Proposal #18/19-2.
Therefore, it has been determined to be in the best interest of the County to award the Piggyback File #24-326, LED Lighting Retrofit for Carmalita Park Softball, per the Clay County Request for Proposal #18/19-2, to Musco Sports Lighting LLC of Oskaloosa, Iowa, for a total cost of $999,800.
