Background:
Promoting Charlotte County as a top-of-mind vacation destination is a primary task of the Tourism Development Department. Promotion of Charlotte County, through Tourist Development Tax, may contain timelines that require action within a short time frame. The resolution allows the County Administrator or designee to sign certain Event Sponsorship Agreements that have been approved and accounted for in the Annual Marketing Plan and official budgeting process.
