REQUESTED MOTION/ACTION
recommendation
Recommended Action:
a) Approve Lease Agreement between Charlotte County and Englewood Community Care Clinic, Inc.; and
b) Approve Resolution authorizing the County Administrator, or his designee, to execute amendments, extensions, terminations, assignments, subleases, and novation changes to the Lease Agreement; and
c) Authorize the Chairman to sign the Lease Agreement and Resolution.

BACKGROUND (Why is this Action Necessary, and What Action will be accomplished)

Background:
Englewood Community Care Clinic, Inc, a non-profit agency, wishes to continue leasing the premises at the Mac V. Horton West County Annex where they provide medical services to the citizens of Charlotte County. The lease commences on June 1, 2024 for one year with two one-year options to renew, for a potential term of three years total. This opportunity enhances partnerships with a local, non-profit to provide medical services to the community.
