BACKGROUND (Why is this Action Necessary, and What Action will be accomplished)

body

Background:

March 1, 1983, the Board of County Commissioners unanimously dedicated the Maintenance and Operations (M&O) Facility located on Kenilworth Boulevard, per a petition submitted by M&O staff, in honor of James M. Buonaguro. With the acquisition of 18181 Sinatra Avenue in mid-county, Public Works staff is formally requesting to name the facility the “J.B. Yard” to continue to honor James Buonaguro who tragically passed away on the job in 1979.
