BACKGROUND (Why is this Action Necessary, and What Action will be accomplished)

body

Background:

The Coastal & Heartland National Estuary Partnership desires to provide funding to Lee County for services that support implementation of its Comprehensive Conservation and Management Plan. An interlocal agreement is needed to serve as a mechanism for facilitating such. Charlotte County, as CHNEP’s fiscal host, enters into such agreements on CHNEP’s behalf. This interlocal agreement being fully executed will allow approved and budgeted CHNEP work plan projects to be undertaken in partnership with a CHNEP member local government, Lee County.
