Recommended Action:
a) Approve Piggyback of File #24-315, to Geo-Comm Incorporated of St. Cloud, Minnesota, per GSA Contract GS-35F-0594S, for a total cost of $298,500. This cost includes services for five (5) years; and
b) Authorize Chairman to sign Statement of Work.

No action needed. Grant funding in the amount of $298,500 is included in the FY24 budget for Fund 1055, Enhanced 911 System. Grant funding will be provided by Florida Department of Management Services. There is no local match required.

BACKGROUND (Why is this Action Necessary, and What Action will be accomplished)

Background:
Charlotte County is a member of Region 6, a twelve county collaborative approved by the State of Florida Emergency Communications Board. The purpose of this regional group, supported by an MOU signed by all twelve counties, is to work together to implement a regional Next Generation 911 GIS data repository and other regional 911 systems.
GeoComm is the region's chosen service provider for data services. Included in this data project is tactical mapping using the RapidSOS Premium application to display mapping data across county boundaries and regional areas. As the holder of the data repository, GeoComm is able to aggregate the multi-county data for display in the tactical map. This will support mutual aid situations, disaster back up scenarios, and other instances when regional mapping data is needed.
The Region 6 project is well underway, with all counties onboarded to the GeoComm GIS Data Hub for data QC and aggregation, and with counties implementing the tactical mapping application as grants and contracts are approved.
