Tourism Development
a) Review and score Waterfest In-Kind Funding Event Application; and
b) If an average score of 60 is reached, approve In-Kind Event Funding in the amount of $50,000 for the 2024 Englewood Beach Waterfest; and
c) Authorize the Chairman to sign the Event Funding Agreement.

Budgeted Action:
No action needed. Budgeted in the General Fund budget as proposed in the FY2025 budget process. Funding for the expenditure comes from General Fund.

Englewood Beach Waterfest is scheduled to take place November 15-18, 2024 (FY2025). The event organizer is requesting in-kind services in the amount of $50,000 to assist in offsetting event expenses.
